Why Sonic Barista?

In one of my very first lectures on filmic sound, the omnipotent instructor said to his students, “From this day forward, you shall all be referred to as sonic baristas.” Hence, Sonic Barista was born.

Nice to meet you! I’m Bridget. I’m a professional location sound recordist serving the city of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Collectively, I’ve been working in the field for about three years. My experience lies in narrative work but I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone to record sound for documentary, commercial, and corporate work as well.

Prior to location work, I studied all facets of post production sound, honing in on sound design and effects editing, all the while living in sunny Los Angeles. My experience in post makes me available for on location consulting, and an invaluable asset to any production team.

I own transportation and have a Canadian passport ready for travel.
